Heather & Jade
Massage therapy is the scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for the purpose of normalizing those tissues and consists of manual techniques that include applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, and/or causing movement of or to the body.
Massage is a great adjunct to whatever is happening in one's life whether it be emotional stress/anxiety causing muscle tensions or headaches, chronic illness management to help maintain movement and minimise further deterioration or just for your training to minimise the potential for sprains, strains or injuries. It can help provide relief to people of all ages, shapes and sizes. It addresses such a variety of health conditions and is so beneficial why not give it a try with either of our therapists, if you haven’t already?
Heather has a Diploma in Massage Therapy and Diploma of Aromatherapy working full time now she has adult children. Heather is accredited with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society and holds a current First Aid Certificate. Outside of work Heather enjoys some bike riding, keeping young with the grandkids and a trip away camping every so often.
Jade, holds a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and has undergone intensive training in the fields of anatomy and physiology, and occupational health. Completing her course alongside her mother Heather, it was the logical next step when she moved home to have children that she work alongside her also. Jade is accredited with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society and holds a current First Aid Certificate. Jade works part-time around her children and volunteer work. She enjoys crossfit and netball outside of work, looking to do more of both as her children become a little more independent.
Both Heather and Jade have a passion for massage and will attest to it’s benefits and the improvement it can bring to one’s quality of life. They are devoted to helping others see the benefits of massage and would love to see you at 3R Massage Therapy.
